About Me

My name is Page and I am a wife and mother to three beautiful children, two here on Earth and one in Heaven. Shortly after I got married I began to put on weight. Before I knew it five years had passed and I had put on fifteen pounds. What??? I just ignored it for the most part and didn't change anything. Then I became pregnant with my son and packed on the pounds. About sixty pounds, actually. I just figured it would all "fall off" after birth. Wrong! I worked a little here and there to diet but never exercised and never had long term motivation. I always thought "Well, I want more children so why worry about losing weight?" That was such a bad attitude to have. When my son turned three, we decided to have more children. I got pregnant again, but we found out at twenty weeks along that our son had not developed kidneys and wouldn't survive birth. He was born into Heaven at 25 weeks. That was an emotional time. I actually used that emotion and channeled in to diet...but again, did not incorporate exercise. I became pregnant with my daughter just a few short months after our second son passed away and she was born in May of 2013. It has been one year since her birth and I have realized it is time to stop making excuses! It is time to stop saying I can diet without exercise or vise versa. I am ready to shed all that post-baby and post-wedding weight that has been creeping up on me for the past ten (TEN!) years. I was introduced to TurboFire at the beginning of this year and fell in love with the program. Is it tough? Absolutely! But it is so WORTH IT! Then, just about a month ago I started on Shakeology and that, combined with TurboFire, has been giving me some amazing results. I have lost a total of five pounds just in the first 18 days and am working on losing 15 more pounds. But, more than just the number on the scale, and the destination, is the JOURNEY. I have been feeling great on this journey! Not run down or moody like some diets can cause. I am finding confidence in myself again and am proud to show my children that physical fitness and healthy eating habits are the best choices for them! Is this something that has been nagging at you?
